Arrow expands Broadcom distribution deal in Europe
Arrow Electronics has expanded its distribution agreement with Broadcom, increasing the range of Broadcom solutions it offers and enhancing its support and service capabilities.
The renewed agreement enables Arrow Electronics to distribute Broadcom's enterprise and mainframe software solutions, originally from the CA Technologies portfolio, and Carbon Black cybersecurity solutions. Arrow is now positioned as the regional go-to-market specialist for Broadcom in Europe, with distribution rights to a significant portion of Broadcom's software offerings.
This expanded collaboration permits Arrow to define sales strategies and initiate go-to-market activities for Broadcom's enterprise, cybersecurity, and mainframe software across several European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Through Arrow, value-added resellers, system integrators, and service providers across Europe can now access Broadcom's extensive enterprise software portfolio. This portfolio includes solutions for automation, ValueOps, NetOps, API Security, Identity & Access Management, AIOps & Observability, Application Development, IT Service Management, and Symantec and Carbon Black cybersecurity solutions.
Arrow provides its channel partners and customers with these comprehensive solutions to aid in driving successful digital transformations. The Broadcom Accelerate Program allows Arrow to function as an extension of the Broadcom team, offering customers enhanced value from their Broadcom software investments. This collaboration includes advanced technical support, improved customer experience, specialized knowledge, personalized assistance, training programs, and value-added services.
Cedric Doignie, Vice President of Sales, Global New Models and Services at Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business, remarked, "Over the last three years, our EMEA teams have had great success with the Symantec portfolio, working with the channel to target and support small and medium businesses. Broadcom's software solutions set the benchmark for digital transformation initiatives, and the addition of these solutions means a better and more complete software portfolio for entrepreneurial value-added partners who are looking to expand their offer and grow their businesses."
Cynthia Loyd, Vice President of Global Commercial & Partner Sales at Broadcom, added, "Our goal is to deliver best-in-class experiences for customers of all sizes, and we continue to deliver on that with our partners through innovative models, like the Broadcom Accelerate Program. Our distributor partners like Arrow will extend our reach with their local expertise and deep knowledge of Broadcom solutions. This program will help ensure we are delivering superior service and support at all stages of the customer journey."
The agreement reflects broader cooperation between Broadcom and Arrow that also includes a global Accelerate agreement for VMware CloudHealth.
