Revolutionary cybersecurity firm, Camelot Secure, based in Columbia, Maryland, has revealed the appointment of Maxwell "Max" Carroll in a pivotal role as Chief of Threat Intelligence. Mr. Carroll will operate not only for Camelot Secure but also for its parent company, DigiFlight. This strategic augmentation to both entities' cybersecurity teams shows a fortified dedication to the proactive protection of essential infrastructures and staying ahead of mutable cyber threats by hiring the industry's most seasoned professionals.
Maxwell Carroll, a distinguished veteran with 23 years of active duty service in the United States Army, will bring a rich breadth of experience and expertise in cybersecurity and strategic security planning from both a domestic and global perspective. His objective is to formulate threat profiles that not only empower cyber defenders to adopt an offensive stance, referred to as "Left of Boom," but to also counter threats before they can secure a foothold, preventing them from causing turmoil within networks.

During his tenure at Camelot, Mr. Carroll will work to establish the company's reputation within the top five critical infrastructures as designated by the National Security Council. Moreover, Mr. Carroll plans to strengthen the company’s presence within the healthcare sector, notably the most vulnerable industry facing relentless cyber-attacks.
Mr. Carroll's history of dedicated service extends beyond his key leadership roles at the National Security Agency for over 19 years and his active duty in the United States Army. In a noteworthy position, he served as the Program Manager for a state-of-the-art high-performance computing program worth over $5 billion. Under his supervision, the computing programme consistently met deadlines, stayed within budget, and exceeded operational performance requirements, which significantly improved national security.
In terms of academic qualifications, Mr. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration from Troy University. He is also a United States Army War College graduate with a Masters in Strategic Studies. Further training includes successful completion of the United States Army Command and General Staff College, the Defense Acquisition University Program Manager Course, and the Organizational Leadership for Executives course from the Center for Army Leadership among others.
Mr. Carroll has received numerous accolades for his service, including The Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Secretary of Defense Identification Badge, the Army Staff Identification Badge, and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award (NSA).
