Check Point & Wiz unveil unified cloud security with real-time AI
Check Point and Wiz have announced the global availability of an integrated solution combining cloud application visibility with prevention-focused enforcement for enterprise cloud security.
The collaboration brings together Wiz's Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) with Check Point's cloud network security technology. This partnership, following an initial announcement earlier this year, aims to address the rapid expansion of cloud infrastructure and the subsequent challenges organisations face in managing security across dynamic environments.
Closing the risk gap
The integration is positioned as a response to longstanding issues for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) who have had to choose between tools that either detect risks or actively block them - a gap in which attackers are often able to operate. The combined solution prioritises both real-time detection and immediate response, reducing what once might have taken days or weeks to address into a process that can be handled in minutes.
Showcasing the epitome of Check Point's open-garden approach in action, this collaboration sets a new benchmark for unified cloud security. Together with Wiz, we are delivering a prevention-first model that secures organizations from code to cloud, with real-time visibility and risk-aware remediation, without compromising on security.
This statement was made by Paul Barbosa, Vice President of Cloud Security at Check Point.
As cloud adoption accelerates, enterprises have encountered a significant rise in misconfigurations and identity management risks. Security teams are affected by alert fatigue as attackers continue to exploit these vulnerabilities at speed, challenging traditional remediation approaches.
Integration details
The integration allows customers to gain visibility into Check Point's CloudGuard gateway configurations through the Wiz platform. This extends the scope of Wiz's risk assessment tools by incorporating third-party virtual firewall policies, enabling organisations to better understand and rapidly respond to potential exposures within their cloud networks.
This new capability gives customers visibility into CloudGuard gateway configurations directly in the Wiz platform. By integrating third-party virtual firewall policies into our risk assessment tools, we're helping teams understand their exposure and take action faster.
Oron Noah, Vice President of Product Extensibility and Partnerships at Wiz, highlighted the significance of this capability for customers seeking to streamline and strengthen their cloud defences.
The collaborative solution is designed to help organisations shift focus from remediation after an incident to preventing attacks before they occur. Specifically, it aims to reduce false positives in security alerts, accelerate response times, and defend against previously unknown-so-called zero-day-attacks utilising AI-powered threat prevention.
Automation and operational impact
The partnership also introduces parallel integration between Wiz and Check Point's Infinity Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) platform. Through this integration, companies can automate remediation actions by converting Wiz security alerts directly into configurations on CloudGuard gateways. The result is a reduction in exposure time, from several hours to just minutes, which may provide enterprises with a more immediate method for addressing cloud security threats.
Independent testing data supports the capabilities of Check Point's security platforms. Assessments by CyberRatings.org showed a 100% block rate with zero false positives for Check Point network and cloud security measures. The Check Point Infinity Platform was further validated by Miercom's 2025 benchmark report, achieving a 99.9% block rate for Zero+1 day malware and a 99.7% prevention rate for phishing attacks.
Global launch
The fully integrated Check Point and Wiz cloud security solution is now available to organisations worldwide. The companies have stated this joint offering supports enterprises as they adapt to new cloud challenges, offering real-time insights and automated threat prevention aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
