Claroty named Leader in 2026 Gartner CPS security report
Claroty has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms. This is the second year Gartner has published the category, and the second time Claroty has received a Leader designation.
The report describes a market that is expanding as threat actors increasingly target industries and critical infrastructure environments where cyber-physical systems (CPS) are common. It also points to ongoing automation and production transformation that widens the attack surface as more CPS are deployed.
Claroty positions its offering as a platform for organisations managing operational technology, connected devices and industrial environments. Its products focus on asset visibility, exposure management, network protection, secure access and threat detection across a range of environments.
Platform focus
The Claroty Platform includes Claroty xDome, delivered as software-as-a-service, and Claroty Continuous Threat Detection, deployed on-premises. It also includes Claroty xDome Secure Access, which supports remote access to CPS environments.
Claroty says the platform addresses compliance, risk reduction and operational integrity. It ties those outcomes to workflows built on asset visibility and insights, exposure management, network protection and threat detection.
Chief Executive Officer Yaniv Vardi framed the recognition as a response to changing attacker behaviour and rising operational impact.
"We're thrilled to once again be recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms. We feel we have entered a new era of high-value targets for cyber attackers looking to disrupt the operations with the greatest impact on our daily lives, making it critical for CPS protection technologies to be held to the highest standard, and to be the most innovative and effective security solutions on the market."
Market signals
Gartner's Magic Quadrant groups vendors into four categories: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries and Niche Players. It is designed to provide a comparative view of suppliers in markets where provider differentiation is distinct.
The announcement comes as industrial and critical infrastructure operators continue to review security controls for environments where safety and availability are central requirements. In these settings, security teams often need detailed inventories of industrial assets and networked devices before they can assess exposure and prioritise remediation.
At the S4 Conference in Miami, Claroty highlighted demonstrations of its discovery approach in a test manufacturing environment. It said the showcase assessed "dynamic discovery" and that its technology delivered the deepest asset visibility in that setting.
Funding and roadmap
Claroty also linked its product direction to its Series F financing round, which totalled USD $150 million. It plans further investment across its unified product set and in research and development.
The company also cited planned work to adopt artificial intelligence within the platform, with the goal of improving efficiency in achieving business outcomes while staying focused on CPS environments.
Remote access guide
Separate from the Magic Quadrant recognition, Claroty was named a Representative Vendor in the 2026 Gartner Market Guide for CPS Secure Remote Access. The category reflects a growing focus on controlling how engineers, vendors and operators connect to sensitive operational environments.
The Market Guide notes that inappropriate or malicious access can have direct real-world consequences, including safety hazards, environmental damage and operational failure. It says CPS secure remote access products reduce these risks by preventing abuse of remote connections and restricting even verified users to specific devices or applications needed for their tasks.
Claroty's secure access offering is part of the broader Claroty Platform alongside its discovery, exposure and threat detection products. Claroty positions secure access as a control point for managing connections into environments where uninterrupted operations are essential.
Customer feedback
Claroty also cited customer ratings on Gartner Peer Insights for the CPS Protection Platforms market. It reported a score of 4.9 out of 5, based on 119 ratings submitted in the last 12 months, along with a 97% "Would Recommend" score as of 3 March 2026.
Customer comments cited by Claroty referenced implementation experience, dashboards and assessments, and support from Claroty staff. Reviews also mentioned segmentation, identifying underutilised equipment and spotting malicious communications.
Claroty is headquartered in New York City and operates across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. It says its technology is deployed by hundreds of organisations across thousands of sites globally, and it expects platform development and AI adoption work to continue following the Series F funding.
