Comstor secures EMEA distribution rights for Splunk
Westcon-Comstor has announced an agreement granting its Comstor arm EMEA distribution rights for Splunk, the cybersecurity and observability firm, following Splunk's acquisition by Cisco.
Expanding its partnership with Cisco, Comstor will leverage the combined capabilities of Cisco and Splunk to offer new growth possibilities for channel partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The agreement ties closely with Comstor's long-established relationship with Cisco.
Through this partnership, Comstor will harness its dual expertise in Cisco and Splunk to offer onboarding and scaling services, which form part of its value-added provisions for partners. This initiative aims to unlock fresh growth avenues for regional channel partners.
This collaboration facilitates Cisco partners in the EMEA region to access a specialised Splunk product line available through Comstor on a subscription basis, aligning with their traditional procurement and consumption frameworks. Existing Splunk partners will also be able to integrate and distribute Cisco offerings such as AppDynamics and ThousandEyes.
Comstor's newly secured agreement expands upon its pre-existing collaboration with Splunk in the Asia-Pacific region, marking a broadened geographical scope for their joint efforts.
