ConnectWise names Johannes Kamleitner EMEA go to market SVP

Fri, 13th Feb 2026

ConnectWise has appointed Johannes Kamleitner as Senior Vice President, Go-to-Market EMEA, adding a senior leader to oversee regional sales and partner activity across the UK and Europe.

Based in Austria, Kamleitner will lead the company's EMEA go-to-market organisation. His remit covers the UK and Ireland, the DACH region, the Nordics, and Benelux.

He will work alongside Sam Callaghan, Vice President, EMEA Sales, on regional execution and partner engagement.

ConnectWise sells software and services used by IT solution providers, including managed service providers (MSPs). The company views EMEA as a growth region and has been expanding leadership coverage across sales and partner functions.

Joe Mercurio, Chief Revenue Officer at ConnectWise, said Kamleitner's hire reflects the company's continued investment in Europe.

"Johannes is a highly respected leader with deep experience across EMEA and a proven ability to scale high-performing teams," Mercurio said. "He will help accelerate our momentum in the region as we continue expanding our support and investment in partners across Europe."

Career Background

Kamleitner joins from DataGuard, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer, leading global sales and marketing. He oversaw expansion efforts tied to partner ecosystems and broader adoption of compliance and security products.

Before DataGuard, he held senior leadership roles at N-able (previously SolarWinds MSP) and GFI Software. Those roles included go-to-market work across EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.

His experience spans global sales strategy, commercial operations, and partner-led growth. Partner relationships are central to ConnectWise's approach in the managed services market, where vendors often rely on channel-led distribution and service delivery.

Regional Focus

In his new role, Kamleitner will lead go-to-market planning and execution across EMEA, overseeing regional teams and coordinating across country clusters with different partner mixes and buying patterns.

He will also focus on closer alignment with partners. ConnectWise highlighted security, compliance, and tools used by MSPs as areas it expects to emphasise in the region.

Kamleitner said the move comes as MSPs across the region face rising customer demands for stronger security assurance and greater automation in IT operations.

"I'm thrilled to join ConnectWise at such an important time for MSPs across EMEA and UKI," Kamleitner said. "The opportunity to work closely with partners and regional teams to support growth through innovation, automation, and security is incredibly compelling. I look forward to collaborating with the broader ConnectWise team to deliver meaningful outcomes for MSPs across the region."

Background

The hire comes as vendors serving MSPs compete for mindshare in security management, remote monitoring, professional services automation, and data protection. Many providers are also expanding compliance offerings, increasing demand for standardised tools and partner programmes.

Kamleitner will work closely with the existing EMEA sales leadership as he takes up the post, with Callaghan continuing to lead EMEA sales. ConnectWise has not disclosed any further organisational changes related to the appointment.
