Mintivo appoints new directors to support ambitious growth
Mintivo has appointed Steve Casey as Finance and Operations Director and Graham Ford as Head of Customer Experience as part of a strategy to support ongoing growth and strengthen its market position.
The Wiltshire-based IT services and solutions company is targeting a 25 per cent increase in growth this year, following two consecutive years in which it achieved 40 per cent annual growth. The new appointments form part of a three-year strategy to ensure the company has the necessary structure to meet its expansion goals, according to Managing Director Alex Jukes.
Mr Jukes explained that the company recognised the need to invest in senior personnel to sustain its trajectory. He said, "We've known that we need to invest in senior people for a little while now and off the back of last year's excellent performance we have taken the decision to go ahead because we want to make sure we have the structure in place to support our growth."
He also emphasised the suitability of the newly appointed executives for Mintivo's current stage of development. "We're lucky to have found Graham and Steve at the same time, because they've both got a lot of experience. They have worked in companies that were in a similar position as us today, but importantly they helped take them to where we want to be, they know what that journey looks like.
"They're perfect for us, because they have scaled companies and understand what needs to be done."
Steve Casey previously served as Chief Finance and Operating Officer at Veritas, a security firm, and most recently as Portfolio Chief Finance Officer at the CFO Centre UK. Mr Casey brings experience to Mintivo having previously worked with the company as a client, offering him direct insight into operations and values.
He said, "Having worked with Mintivo as a client previously, I've seen first-hand the impact of their innovative solutions and the integrity with which they operate.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the team and it's a privilege to contribute to a company whose values I already believe in. I look forward to helping drive forward its vision and growth journey, bringing my insights and experience to support the next exciting chapter."
Mr Jukes highlighted the role Mr Casey is expected to play in Mintivo's expansion: "Part of Steve's role will be forecasting and scenario planning to explore the opportunities ahead to ensure the company can capitalise on opportunities to grow, plan for new initiatives and continue to support and develop its people," he said.
He added, "While the last couple of years have been strong, planning ahead like this means we can keep driving the business forward with confidence."
Graham Ford, before joining Mintivo, was Head of Service Delivery at IT consultant MindCraft. Mr Ford said he hopes to further develop both customer and internal team relationships at Mintivo. "I am delighted to join Mintivo at such a pivotal moment in its growth. The team has established a strong and successful foundation, and I look forward to engaging directly with our customers and the internal teams to further enhance those relationships.
"I'm keen to apply the experience I've gained from previous MSP roles to support continuous improvement and deliver meaningful, measurable value."
Mr Jukes explained the importance of customer service to the company's development. He said, "Our customers who have been on a journey with us have come to expect a high level of service, that's why our retention is really good."
He further stated, "My concern has been that as we continue to grow our business, we need the right systems, processes and people to make sure we maintain that excellent customer experience. Graham will help us keep up that standard while also developing the right culture as we transition from a start-up to more of a small corporate environment - without losing the spirit that won us so many customers in the first place."
Mintivo is also seeking to appoint a Head of Tech to further develop its technology strategy and ensure that its services continue to address client needs. Mr Jukes said, "We want someone in the business to take ownership of our technology strategy and ensure our products and services continue to evolve to meet the needs of our customers today and in the future."
He added, "We started eight years ago and have grown quickly but we don't want to rest on our laurels, we want to make sure we keep our finger on the pulse and continue developing the service we offer our customers.
"We've got a really great team here already but Graham, Steve and the new Head of Tech are going to add a lot of value to them by mentoring and supporting them as we continue to grow."
