Nasuni & Trustmarque partner to boost UK cloud data security
Nasuni and Trustmarque have announced a strategic partnership aimed at providing advanced file systems and enhanced ransomware resilience to enterprises across the United Kingdom.
Through this collaboration, Trustmarque will incorporate the Nasuni File Data Platform into its service offering. The platform provides a scalable, cloud-native foundation for storing and accessing unstructured file data across hybrid environments, and introduces protection features to bolster resilience against ongoing cyber threats. This move closely complements Trustmarque's established Microsoft expertise, which includes delivering Azure-integrated deployments from initial landing zones through to long-term management of data assets.
Enhanced unstructured data management
The partnership focuses on supporting UK organisations that are grappling with rising volumes of unstructured data, growing demands for robust data protection, and increasing pressure to reduce infrastructure costs. By adding Nasuni's platform to its portfolio, Trustmarque intends to address complexities associated with legacy systems, security, and sustainability within hybrid IT environments.
Chris Barnes, Senior Client Director at Trustmarque, said: "We're very excited about this long-term partnership with Nasuni. Their next-generation file data services align closely with our solutions like Azure, enabling deeper support for UK organisations facing complex infrastructure, security, and sustainability challenges. Nasuni is a trusted partner; one that is customer-focused, easy to work with, and committed to delivering exceptional service."
This agreement forms part of Trustmarque's broader strategy to offer more scalable technology solutions, aimed at helping businesses improve operational agility, bolster their cyber defences, reduce reliance on outdated IT infrastructure, and progress towards sustainability through increased adoption of cloud-native technology.
Supporting UK market expansion
Trustmarque's collaboration with Nasuni marks a step in its growth as one of the UK's largest independent managed service providers. At the same time, the partnership strengthens Nasuni's presence in the United Kingdom and expands the reach of its platform among local enterprises and public sector organisations.
"Our partnership with Trustmarque marks a milestone in Nasuni's UK growth and development," said Samuel Blackburn, Partner Sales Manager at Nasuni. "Trustmarque stands out for their ability to gain the deepest understanding of customers' needs. The addition of Nasuni File Data Platform to their comprehensive portfolio enables them to transform UK organisations dealing with spiralling unstructured data volumes, demands for greater data resilience and lower infrastructure costs, all while reducing running costs and improving sustainability."
The Nasuni File Data Platform enables customers to combine storage and data services as a single hybrid cloud solution. It is designed to help channel partners address challenges associated with rapid growth in unstructured data, continued use of legacy infrastructure, and the increased emphasis on remote working models by optimising data flow and access across locations.
Addressing cost and resilience requirements
With unstructured file data growing faster than other segments in cloud storage, enterprises have focused on operational agility and heightened resilience. Nasuni's platform is structured to support these goals by removing the need for additional cybersecurity solutions and separate backup and disaster recovery systems. Nasuni states that its approach can reduce infrastructure costs by up to 67% while delivering integrated data security and management features.
Trustmarque, which has invested in developing cybersecurity expertise and holds several key cybersecurity accreditations, intends to leverage the partnership to offer clients improved levels of compliance and robust protection as part of their IT and cloud strategies. The company delivers IT solutions and managed services to a range of sectors, including public sector organisations and private enterprises.
Internationally, Nasuni is used by organisations in sectors such as manufacturing, media, construction, consumer goods, and energy, and its services are available in over 70 countries. The combination of Nasuni's unified data platform and Trustmarque's experience in Azure deployments and cybersecurity aims to further support UK businesses in managing IT transformation challenges, data growth, and evolving cyber risks.
