Orange Cyberdefense has announced the appointment of Ajay Bhardwaj as UK Managing Director.

Ajay Bhardwaj is tasked with increasing market share, diversifying the customer portfolio, and maintaining service standards in the UK for the cybersecurity firm. With a career spanning over 25 years, Ajay brings significant expertise in leading technology teams.

Prior to joining Orange Cyberdefense, Ajay spent a decade at Secureworks overseeing EMEA and global operations for managed security services. His previous positions encompass roles at Intel Security and McAfee, where he focused on professional services.

Hugues Foulon, Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Cyberdefense, remarked, "The UK is an important market for Orange Cyberdefense, where we see significant development and investment potential, especially in managed security services, with a revenue growth of 10% in the market. With Ajay as managing director, the future of UK organizations and their digital users remains safe amidst an increasingly treacherous digital threat landscape. With our UK teams and our global capabilities, Ajay will support business leaders in building the resilience of their companies, especially those responsible for critical national infrastructure."

Ajay Bhardwaj highlighted the maturity of the UK cybersecurity market, stating, "The UK is an incredibly mature cybersecurity market and an exemplar for other nations globally. Orange Cyberdefense has a significant presence here, a world-class SOC, and our cybersecurity incident response team (CSIRT) already established and providing valuable insights into the UK threat landscape. I'm looking forward to collaborating with our leadership team to build on this world-class foundation, reinvigorate our purpose and approach, and gather momentum to expand our solutions portfolio and customer base."

Orange Cyberdefense is also marking the inauguration of its new UK office located at 80 Cannon Street in the City of London. This strategic development aims to enhance the company's connection with clients in the UK.

The new office will accommodate a Cyber Experience Centre (CEC) designed to interact with stakeholders, particularly at the C-suite level. The CEC will provide simulations to assess cyber-readiness and to foster confidence in addressing security incidents. Additionally, it will serve as a platform for engagement with industry bodies, analysts, and the media.
