Peter Young appointed CEO at leading tech firm Reconeyez

Peter Young has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Reconeyez.

Peter Young arrives at Reconeyez with experience in scaling international technology businesses and leading high-performing teams across the security, surveillance, and technology sectors. He has previously held the role of CEO at SpatialBuzz, which was acquired by a Nasdaq-listed company, and has also held senior positions at Mesaplexx and Aircom, contributing to their commercial outcomes.

In a statement regarding his appointment, Peter Young said: "Reconeyez has developed a uniquely intelligent platform that transforms how critical assets and infrastructure are monitored and protected. Peter Young will be dividing his time between Tallinn, the UK, and the USA. He will work closely with Reconeyez' teams across these regions with a focus on expanding the company's footprint in its core markets in Europe and North America, as well as pursuing growth in other territories.

Reconeyez is continuing development in AI capabilities and system performance, with the recent introduction of the Reconeyez SIM illustrating the company's commitment to enhancement of its offerings. The company maintains a focus on working collaboratively with partners and security professionals on new developments and improvements.

Since its founding, Reconeyez has offered autonomous outdoor alarm systems utilising a combination of wireless PIR camera technology and cloud-based AI, intended to deliver intelligent and easy-to-install systems while reducing false alarms. The company's technology has been used in over 38 countries since 2009, with deployments spanning critical infrastructure, private security, and commercial operations, as well as by defence, law enforcement, and border agencies, including applications at NATO and EU external borders.
