Principle Networks reported FY25/26 revenue of £8 million and EBITDA of £1 million, with EBITDA up 70% year on year.

The results extend a three-year run of average annual revenue growth of 40% and EBITDA growth of 106%.

According to the company, growth came entirely from organic expansion, supported by new customer wins, customer retention of about 98% and high net revenue retention.

Demand has risen as organisations update their IT estates and rethink how they buy cybersecurity services. Principle Networks focuses on mid-enterprise customers seeking support with co-managed security services, platform consolidation and zero trust architecture.

Recent client wins included IRIS Software Group, Hill Dickinson, Hargreaves Services, Buzz Bingo and Datum Datacentres. Those additions came as businesses looked to simplify security environments while adopting AI, cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

Russell Crowley, Co-CEO at Principle Networks, outlined the market conditions behind the company's growth.

"The way organisations buy cybersecurity is changing. Businesses are under increasing pressure to simplify increasingly complex security environments whilst protecting AI, cloud and hybrid infrastructure. Rather than adding more technology, they're looking to consolidate around strategic platforms and work with specialist partners who can help them maximise value from those investments. That's exactly where Principle Networks has built its business, helping customers reduce risk, simplify operations and accelerate value through identity, Zero Trust, cloud & AI security and data protection," said Russell Crowley, Co-CEO at Principle Networks.

Leadership changes

During the year, the company appointed Mike Beevor as Chief Technology Officer. Beevor previously worked at Zscaler, and the appointment strengthened Principle Networks' senior team and vendor relationships, according to the company.

Founded in 2018, the business has positioned itself around advisory, architecture and managed security services. It is also broadening its services-led partner ecosystem as it seeks to extend its market reach.

Cybersecurity providers have benefited from sustained demand as companies reassess security operations, cut overlapping tools and shift spending towards fewer strategic platforms. That trend has created openings for specialist firms that can support identity, cloud security, data protection and zero trust projects.

Principle Networks said its model is designed to let customers retain control of their security operations while bringing in outside expertise. It argues that this approach appeals to mid-sized organisations that want to modernise defences without building every function in-house.

The latest figures point to a business that has expanded quickly without acquisitions. With revenue at £8 million and EBITDA at £1 million, customer retention and platform-focused security work appear to remain central to its growth.
