Secure.com launches AI teammates to combat USD $10.5 trillion cybercrime

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

Secure.com, based in Dubai, has introduced Digital Security Teammate (DST), a suite of AI-native agents developed to help address critical operational challenges facing cybersecurity teams worldwide. The launch follows growing concerns over escalating cybercrime damages, a widening cybersecurity talent gap, and increasing operational pressure on security professionals.

Industry pressures

Cybersecurity Ventures estimates that global damages from cybercrime have reached USD $10.5 trillion. At the same time, the sector faces a shortfall of 4.8 million professionals, leaving security departments with persistent staffing challenges. IBM's Cost of a Data Breach Report 2025 revealed that the average cost of a breach in the United States now stands at USD $10.22 million, with the Middle East not far behind at USD $7.29 million.

Security teams often contend with overwhelming volumes of alerts, limited ability to staff around the clock, and complex compliance demands. Survey data from Object First shows that 84% of security professionals feel uncomfortably stressed, and nearly 60% are considering leaving their roles. These issues have exacerbated concerns around burnout and turnover.

AI-native approach

The DST platform operates as a set of always-on AI agents embedded within an organisation's security infrastructure. These agents automate the investigation of alerts, triage incidents, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and escalate only when necessary. DST is designed to integrate with more than 200 security platforms, including popular options from IBM, Cisco, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and major cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

Secure.com states that DST delivers several key capabilities. It provides unified intelligence by consolidating insights from existing security tools, reduces noise in alerting by up to 60%, and allows users to interact through natural language, removing the need for complex training. Every action taken by DST is explained and remains fully auditable to promote transparency and trust. Regulatory compliance is built-in for SOC2, ISO 27001, NCA ECC, SAMA, and other regional and international standards.

Early deployment results

Initial deployments of DST have taken place in finance, healthcare, and technology organisations, largely among mid-sized and cloud-focused firms. According to Secure.com, these early customers have measured a 70% reduction in time to detect threats, a 50% reduction in resolution time, and have eliminated 60% of alert fatigue. DST reportedly saves over 2,000 analyst hours annually per deployment, with notable improvements in asset workload management.

"Secure.com doesn't replace our security stack; it brings it together. It connects configuration signals, uncovers risks that slip past traditional workflows, and helps our engineers focus on the fixes that move our security forward. It feels like having a digital teammate keeping watch and adding context in ways a single analyst never could," said Brendan Laws, COO, Blackpanda.

INIT Limited in Malaysia also reflected on the tool's value for operational leadership, stating that the new AI teammates enable their security teams to move from reactive monitoring to proactive guidance, scaling as operational requirements change.

Investment and regional growth

Secure.com has also announced its first venture funding round, receiving an investment of USD $4.5 million from Disrupt.com, a MENA region-based venture builder associated with several international technology exits. This backing is intended to support scaling of DST and mirrors growing interest in AI-driven cybersecurity solutions across the Middle East and beyond.

The company positions DST as available to organisations ranging from smaller firms to global enterprises. Pricing starts at USD $2,500 per month, which Secure.com claims is significantly lower than the typical salary for human security analysts.

"You cannot hire your way out of a 10.5 trillion threat. You need leverage. Digital Security Teammates help teams protect what matters without burning out people or budgets. This is not a future vision. It is here today, with a clear path to even more capability in the months ahead," said Uzair Gadit, CEO, Secure.com.
