SUSE & AI & Partners launch automated EU AI Act compliance tool

Thu, 9th Oct 2025

SUSE and AI & Partners have announced a partnership to provide a joint solution that assists regulated industries in meeting the requirements of the EU AI Act.

The collaboration brings together SUSE's enterprise AI platform with AI & Partners' regulatory technology, offering a way for organisations in finance, healthcare, telecommunications and critical infrastructure to manage compliance obligations related to artificial intelligence systems.

Regulatory demands

The EU AI Act sets a framework for responsible AI use across industries, with strict requirements for detection, risk assessment and ongoing monitoring of AI systems. The joint solution from SUSE and AI & Partners is intended to help enterprises address these requirements efficiently by automating compliance processes and producing evidence suitable for audits within weeks.

The solution integrates SUSE AI, designed for operationalising enterprise AI workloads while maintaining data control, with AI & Partners' technologies for AI system detection, risk classification and performance monitoring. This combined offering aims to automate discovery of AI-enabled systems, generate an updated inventory for risk classification, and provide continuous monitoring of models, including performance and potential drift.

Automating compliance

According to the announcement, the outputs of the solution can be exported in audit-ready formats, enabling independent validation and reducing manual compilation of evidence. Error-prone manual tasks for compliance and engineering teams are replaced with reproducible, evidence-based processes.

"Beneath the surface of any AI platform lies the infrastructure of trust: secure infrastructure and auditable operations. That is what powers safe, cloud native AI," said Abhinav Puri, VP and GM of Portfolio Solutions and Services at SUSE. "Together with AI & Partners, we are giving enterprises the confidence to accelerate AI initiatives while keeping data under control and remaining compliant."

The companies highlight that the partnership is rooted in a mutual commitment to responsible and ethical digital development, pointing to a growing need for robust AI data governance as organisations expand their adoption of artificial intelligence.

"The EU AI Act has set a high benchmark for responsible AI, but many organisations struggle with the complexity of its requirements," said Sean Musch, Founder & CEO of AI & Partners. "By partnering with SUSE, we are giving enterprises the ability to operationalise compliance on infrastructure they already trust. This is about turning regulation into a catalyst for safer, more innovative AI across Europe."

Architecture and features

The joint solution enables rapid AI deployment on established enterprise infrastructure, preserving control over data, models, and compliance artefacts. Organisational frameworks for automated AI inventory are created, as organisations work towards compliance obligations set by the Act. Continuous model monitoring aligns logs and alerts with EU AI Act post-deployment requirements.

Additional features include audit-ready export options for evidence, support for lifecycle governance, secure edge deployment, certified model catalogues and supply-chain attestations. The partnership's intent is to shift enterprises from reactive compliance approaches to proactive management of AI risk and data sovereignty.

The companies state that the solution supports enterprises as they adapt to evolving regulations, aiming for long-term trustworthy AI operations. The model encompasses future-proof compliance measures, with the aim to simplify and automate complex regulatory obligations as AI adoption grows in regulated sectors.
