Syrenis appoints new leadership to drive growth strategy
Syrenis has announced strategic leadership appointments as it celebrates its 25th anniversary and sets sights on expansion amid increasing data privacy requirements.
The company has appointed Martin Audcent as Chief Financial Officer and Paul Glynn as Chief Sales Officer, following Adam Binks' earlier appointment as Chief Executive Officer. Syrenis, which is based in the North of England, manages over 1.2 billion customer records and has outlined plans to double its revenue over the next five years.
Adam Binks stated, "At Syrenis, data privacy is more than a regulatory mandate – it's the engine driving our next wave of innovation, beyond compliance. As we welcome visionary leaders like Martin and Paul, we're not just expanding our team; we're redefining the standard for secure, agile consent management. We are pioneers in the space and our purpose is to empower Fortune 500 companies to transform data protection into a strategic advantage, setting a new industry benchmark in this digital-first era."
The appointments come as Syrenis moves to its new headquarters in Warrington, in alignment with government initiatives to spread tech innovation across the UK beyond traditional hubs such as London, Cambridge, and Oxford.
Martin Audcent, now the Chief Financial Officer, previously served as CFO at SysGroup and Associate Finance Director at NCC Group. He is expected to contribute significantly to Syrenis' financial strategy and compliance, offering his extensive experience in financial leadership and strategic planning.
In his new role, Audcent will work hand-in-hand with various departments to drive financial growth and ensure the company's ongoing success. His leadership is anticipated to play a crucial role in achieving Syrenis' growth ambitions.
Paul Glynn, stepping into the position of Chief Sales Officer, joins Syrenis from Digimarc. Glynn brings with him considerable expertise in sales leadership and has a verifiable record in driving growth and establishing strong client relations.
As Chief Sales Officer, Glynn will be tasked with shaping and executing Syrenis' sales strategy, with the objective of expanding the company's market reach and enhancing value provision to both current and prospective clients.
Syrenis, recognised by Gartner as a leader in the industry, plays a significant role in consent and preference management across sectors including pharmaceuticals, finance, and automotive. The company aims to leverage these strategic appointments to solidify its industry position and propel its next phase of growth.
