TP Link expands Kieran Vineer role across UK & Ireland
TP-Link has appointed Kieran Vineer as Distribution Channel Director for the UK and Ireland, expanding his remit to cover the company's networking and surveillance lines.
Vineer will lead distribution across the region for TP-Link's business networking products and its surveillance portfolio. The company said he will oversee day-to-day operations, customer engagement and sales development across both channels.
The change follows TP-Link's push to grow its business networking and surveillance activities in the UK and Ireland. The company sells networking, ISP and smart home products, alongside security-focused devices.
Expanded remit
TP-Link said Vineer's responsibilities now include the VIGI surveillance range as well as the Omada networking range. The company described the move as a shift towards a more integrated route to market that covers distribution, resellers and installers.
TP-Link positions Omada as its business networking line. It markets VIGI as its surveillance offering. The company said Vineer's expanded scope will increase collaboration between teams and partners that work across those product sets.
Vineer brings nearly 20 years of channel experience, according to TP-Link. The company said he has worked with two of the UK's top distributors. It added that he has spent more than a decade at TP-Link and has worked on its distribution channel across the UK and Ireland.
TP-Link said Vineer has played a role in building partner relationships and driving performance of Omada solutions in the market. The company did not disclose revenue figures for the UK and Ireland, or any distribution targets tied to the appointment.
Channel focus
TP-Link framed the move as a leadership change aligned with channel growth across UK and Ireland. The company said it expects closer working across distribution, reseller and installer communities as it develops its surveillance business alongside networking.
Vineer said he will prioritise partner engagement and operational execution. TP-Link also outlined internal priorities for his role, including maintaining standards and establishing operational discipline.
"I'm grateful for the trust placed in me at a time of considerable channel growth in UK&I for TP-Link," said Kieran Vineer, Distribution Channel Director, UK&I, TP-Link. "With expanded responsibilities for surveillance across our VIGI and Omada solutions, I'm excited to continue the strong momentum built in the market, working even closer with our incredibly talented team and deepening relationships with partners."
Management view
TP-Link's UK and Ireland B2B leadership highlighted the importance of channel execution across both networking and surveillance in the region. The company said Vineer's experience covers channel management and customer development.
"Kieran brings a wealth of experience in channel management, customer development and a clear commitment to driving the business forward," said Ben Allcock, Vice President - B2B, UK&I, TP-Link. "This expertise will be invaluable as TP-Link continues to strengthen its position across both Distribution and surveillance markets."
TP-Link said Vineer will work on collaboration with partners and a culture of continuous improvement within the team as the company continues its growth across the UK and Ireland.
