Wavenet launches CyberGuard Net360 for enhanced network security
Wavenet has introduced CyberGuard Net360, a new managed service designed to provide enterprises with comprehensive visibility, control, and resilience over their increasingly complex network infrastructures.
Rising cyber threats
The service arrives as UK enterprises face a significant rise in cyber incidents and network disruptions. According to the National Cyber Security Centre, the last year saw over 200 "nationally significant" cyber-incidents. The UK Government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey for 2025 shows that 43% of UK businesses reported a breach or attack in the past 12 months. Furthermore, IDC research indicates that half of UK businesses have suffered revenue loss due to network outages or poor network performance.
Unified visibility
CyberGuard Net360 consolidates network visibility, zero-trust networking, and network detection and response into a unified platform. The solution aims to address the challenge of visibility within sprawling, distributed network environments, which now routinely span both on-premises infrastructure and cloud services as well as remote endpoints.
Paul Colwell, Chief Information Security Officer at Wavenet CyberGuard, said: "Without full visibility, networks are at risk of blind spots, outages and breaches. Many large organisations do of course have already basic monitoring and management capability in place; but what they struggle with is forensically seeing what's happening network-wide and how to keep it secure. CyberGuard Net360 provides a smarter, more agile way to view, protect and optimise their networks, helping businesses see more, trust more and secure more."
Key capabilities
Three core features underpin the new service. Network visibility tools aim to eliminate blind spots, minimise outages, and reduce operational costs by providing IT teams with deeper insight into the entire network. Zero-trust networking enforces continuous verification and network segmentation to prevent lateral movement by attackers. Network detection and response components continuously analyse network traffic, flagging and mitigating threats in real-time to reduce dwell time during attacks.
Technology partnerships
CyberGuard Net360 integrates products from several security and network infrastructure vendors, including Gigamon, NetBrain, Kentik and Darktrace. This multi-vendor approach is delivered via a single managed service, designed to present IT teams with a coherent security and performance layer.
According to Wavenet, this approach helps organisations reduce the number of network outages, improve the speed of incident response, and decrease cybersecurity risk across distributed environments.
Market demand
Enterprise networks are increasingly dispersed as businesses operate hybrid and remote work models. This complexity has outpaced the capability of many internal IT teams to monitor and defend the network surface area adequately. CyberGuard Net360 is positioned to provide IT departments with centralised visibility of their full infrastructure, spanning public cloud, private data centres, and remote workers. This enables the proactive identification of threats, optimisation of traffic flow, and simplified risk management over multiple network zones.
"With more than 200 major attacks recorded in the UK last year alone, and outages costing millions, visibility is now business critical," said Colwell. "CyberGuard Net360 helps customers cut through the noise, pinpoint risks and act fast, all within a zero-trust framework."
