CoreView appoints Kasper Lindgaard as Security Chief

Tue, 9th Jun 2026 (Yesterday)

CoreView has appointed Kasper Lindgaard as Vice President of Security Strategy, expanding its focus on Microsoft Cloud security.

Lindgaard brings more than two decades of experience in Microsoft platform security. He previously led Secunia Research, then held a senior research and security role at Flexera after its acquisition of Secunia. He has also served as a chief information security officer in regulated services businesses.

At CoreView, he will report to Chief Product and Technology Officer Andrea Sivieri. His remit includes product security advice, the company's external security profile, security messaging, commercial support, and internal security posture.

He will also lead Security Labs, a new threat intelligence and research initiative focused on threats affecting Microsoft 365 and the wider Microsoft Cloud environment.

The appointment follows the launch of Corey AI Agent, an administration assistant designed to help teams manage Microsoft 365 security through natural language queries. The launch was part of a broader push to expand tools and research around administration and risk in Microsoft cloud environments.

Lindgaard is also the founder of Aporio, a Danish cybersecurity start-up launched in 2025. The business focused on identity risk in Entra ID and Azure, including identity discovery, dormant accounts, attack path mapping, Microsoft Graph permissions, privileged identity management activity, and conditional access.

CoreView linked that work to what it describes as a gap in how organisations manage Microsoft 365 and broader Microsoft Cloud operations. In its view, native tools do not provide a dedicated operational control layer for large, complex environments.

Sivieri said Lindgaard's background spans research, operational security leadership, and company building.

"Kasper's authority in Microsoft Cloud security is earned through extensive experience, research and vast credibility," said Andrea Sivieri, Chief Product and Technology Officer at CoreView.

"He led the industry's most respected vulnerability research operations, served as a CISO, and founded a company independently addressing the same identity risk gap we're solving. That combination of researcher, operator, and founder is rare."

Before founding Aporio, Lindgaard built his profile at Secunia Research, where he took over leadership of the unit in 2011. The team became widely known in vulnerability intelligence, particularly for research used by companies and public sector bodies to assess Microsoft-related security risks.

After Flexera acquired Secunia in 2015, he remained with the business as Senior Director of Research and Security. His work there helped establish methods used by enterprises and governments to understand and respond to Microsoft security issues.

The hire gives CoreView a senior executive focused specifically on security strategy as competition grows among software suppliers serving Microsoft 365 estates. Large organisations are under increasing pressure to oversee identity, permissions, tenant administration, and cloud exposure across sprawling Microsoft environments.

It also gives CoreView a public-facing security figure as it seeks to raise its profile in a market shaped by platform complexity and continued demand for tighter governance. The company says it works with more than 4,000 organisations managing Microsoft 365 environments.

"When I was building Aporio, I kept arriving at the same conclusion: the attack surface covering Microsoft 365 and the broader Microsoft Cloud is too big, too complex, and too interconnected to be governed by native tooling alone," said Kasper Lindgaard, Vice President of Security Strategy at CoreView.

"CoreView has built the operational layer that enterprises actually need. I'm looking forward to enhancing its leadership position and building further authority in this vitally important area."
