Kaspersky enhances security access for smaller developers

Yesterday

Kaspersky has launched a new initiative within its BUILD track of the Kaspersky United partner programme to enhance cybersecurity accessibility for smaller companies and startups involved in software development.

This initiative introduces a revised framework aimed at simplifying entry requirements and offering tailored resources, enabling a broader spectrum of technology partners to incorporate Kaspersky's security solutions into their offerings or internal operations.

The BUILD track of Kaspersky United is crafted for technology partners who seek to integrate Kaspersky's security technologies into their products for customers or for internal use. It includes various levels of partnership, with the introduction of a new "Technology Advanced" status serving as an intermediate level between the existing Technology and Technology Strategic statuses.

The Technology status is now an entry point, primarily targeting smaller developers and startups. This status gives access to essential tools to enhance security measures with Kaspersky's solutions while reducing entry barriers to collaboration. These companies can access core cybersecurity tools and resources and, as they grow, they have the option to transition into more advanced partnership tiers.

Technology status partners will be able to work under a simplified model with minimal requirements. Over time, they can advance to more customized partnership models like the new Technology Advanced status or even the Technology Strategic model.

This BUILD track also allows partners to engage with other tracks within the Kaspersky United programme, such as DEPLOY, SELL, and MANAGE. Technology partners can find opportunities across these divisions, and those from other divisions with development capabilities can also take advantage of the BUILD programme.

Kaspersky United further offers a certification process for its technology partners. These partners can nominate themselves for certified partner status, which can enhance their market credibility and collaboration with Kaspersky.

Andrey Savchenko, Head of Technology Alliances at Kaspersky, said, "The introduction of the Technology statuses reflects our commitment to empowering businesses of all sizes to embed robust cybersecurity into their operations. The BUILD track will work in synergy with the other tracks to enable us to keep nurturing a rich partner network across the globe. Whether you're a large enterprise or a small startup, the new and improved Kaspersky United programme offers tools and support tailored to the needs of our partners, helping them grow securely and innovate confidently."

Kaspersky is a global cybersecurity and digital privacy company founded in 1997. The company's comprehensive security portfolio includes endpoint protection, specialised security products and services, as well as Cyber Immune solutions to fight sophisticated and evolving digital threats.
