Logpoint appoints Hemmingsen as SVP of people & culture
Logpoint has announced the appointment of Gitte Hemmingsen as Senior Vice President (SVP) of People & Culture. Hemmingsen will assume the role of overseeing and supporting an engaged and competent workforce, as well as attracting key cybersecurity talent to facilitate Logpoint's growth. She will be joining the executive management team and will report directly to newly appointed CEO, Mikkel Drucker.
Mikkel Drucker expressed his enthusiasm for Hemmingsen's appointment, stating, "I'm excited that Gitte is joining Logpoint. She has a strong set of values and is an experienced People and HR leader with impressive results from both large organisations, startups and scaleups. A value-driven and healthy organisation with psychological safety, strong sense of belongingness and feedback culture is important to support our journey to become a European cybersecurity powerhouse. Gitte's experiences and subject knowledge is a perfect fit because she can navigate working between strategic and operational levels effectively."
Hemmingsen brings over 20 years of experience in HR and People & Culture, with notable accomplishments in talent acquisition, scaling businesses, and developing People & Culture strategies. She previously served as Director of People & Culture at Liewood, a children's design and lifestyle brand that has experienced significant growth. Prior to her tenure at Liewood, she spent six years at the founder-led SaaS company Siteimprove as Vice President of Global HR. There, she led the onboarding of new employees and established a robust culture and HR function to support substantial growth culminating in the successful acquisition by Nordic Capital. Hemmingsen has also held leadership and consulting positions in HR at PwC, Alecto-Cornerstone, and Moment.
Hemmingsen remarked on her new role, saying, "I have a special passion for scaleups and technology and thrive in the cross-field between creating a healthy organisation and supporting business results. As a cybersecurity vendor, Logpoint can help European organisations defend against cyberattacks that impact society extensively today. Logpoint also aims to be recognised as a great place to work in Europe and to create a strong talent hub. With that comes enormous potential which my experience is well-geared towards and I'm delighted to join Logpoint at this stage in its journey."
