Logpoint names Mikkel Drucker as new CEO to drive growth

Thu, 30th May 2024

Logpoint has named Mikkel Drucker as its new Chief Executive Officer. Drucker's appointment is expected to drive the company's expansion in the Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) market, with a particular focus on serving mid-sized organisations and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).

Drucker brings a wealth of experience to Logpoint, having a proven track record in scaling Software as a Service (SaaS) companies and achieving profitable growth. Prior to joining Logpoint, Drucker served as CEO of Netigate, where he led the company's sale to a private equity fund and oversaw its transformation into an innovative technology platform. He also held a pivotal role as Chief Growth Officer at Tacton, helping the company secure a Leader position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Applications. His entrepreneurial background includes co-founding Lindrucker and successfully leading it to a strategic exit.

Jim Pflaging, Chairman of the Board at Logpoint, expressed enthusiasm about Drucker's appointment. "We're excited to have Mikkel on board," Pflaging stated. "His experience with scaling businesses, overseeing organisational transformation, and understanding how to improve company offerings will be instrumental in enhancing Logpoint's growth journey. We look forward to working with Mikkel to turn Logpoint into a preferred cybersecurity partner for European mid-sized organisations and MSSPs."

Under Drucker's leadership, Logpoint aims to strengthen its financial growth and reaffirm its mission to provide efficient cybersecurity solutions for mid-sized organisations. His strategy will prioritise increasing the company's market share in Europe through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Drucker will focus on expanding partnerships with resellers and MSSPs, and attracting top cybersecurity talent to support the company's scaling efforts.

"Cybersecurity is an exciting industry that addresses one of society's greatest challenges today: cyber risk," Drucker commented. "Adversaries are becoming more aggressive due to geopolitical unrest, the emergence of AI, and the commoditisation of malware. Logpoint has the potential to become a leading company in this sector. With its European foundation and technology tailored to protect mid-market organisations, Logpoint is uniquely positioned to capitalise on the cybersecurity market's growth. I look forward to building on this strong foundation and establishing Logpoint as a strong European cybersecurity vendor and a great place to work."

Logpoint is the largest European vendor specialising in converged SIEM solutions. The company provides tools to collect and analyse security data, enabling organisations to better detect, investigate, and respond to cyberattacks, and comply with regulations such as NIS 2 and GDPR. Uniquely, Logpoint has earned a Common Criteria EAL3+ certification, underlining its commitment to robust security and data protection standards.
