Outpost24 appoints Ariel Katz to drive strategic growth plans

Wed, 20th Aug 2025

Outpost24 has appointed Ariel Katz as Chief Corporate Development Officer in a move designed to focus on the company's strategic growth.

Katz will be responsible for driving Outpost24's pursuit of inorganic opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, aimed at strengthening its position in the cybersecurity sector. The appointment comes as Outpost24 seeks to build on its activities within cyber risk management and threat intelligence.

Industry experience

Katz brings more than two decades of experience in both finance and technology to his new role at Outpost24. He began his professional journey with financial audit work at PwC, where he gained foundational expertise in accounting and compliance. Subsequently, he specialised in investment and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions during his tenures at Deloitte and KPMG. This early focus on financial due diligence and dealmaking laid the groundwork for his later transition into the technology sector.

In the tech industry, Katz has invested in several startup ventures, including those specifically focused on cybersecurity. His direct exposure to the requirements of early-stage companies, particularly regarding growth and risk management, informs his approach to corporate development in larger organisations.

Corporate development focus

Katz's career path also includes a period in a Corporate Development role at Visa, where he managed M&A and strategic initiatives throughout Europe. This gave him experience navigating transactions and strategic investments on a global scale, equipping him to handle both the commercial and operational facets of corporate growth. Most recently, he has held senior finance and strategy positions at fast-developing technology businesses such as EverC and Payset. In these roles, Katz was responsible for steering the companies through the complex environments characteristic of fast-growing technology enterprises.

The appointment of Katz reflects Outpost24's intention to increase its footprint within the cybersecurity landscape by seeking out external growth opportunities in addition to its internal development efforts.

Statement from Ariel Katz

"I'm excited to join the Outpost24 team at such a pivotal time for cybersecurity innovation," said Katz. "By accelerating our corporate development initiatives, expanding industry alliances, and identifying key opportunities, I intend to enhance Outpost24 as a leader in the market and deliver value to our customers."

Outpost24 serves a global customer base by providing attack surface management solutions that allow organisations to monitor and address digital risks proactively. The company operates from its headquarters in Sweden, with additional offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Spain. Outpost24's solutions aim to support security teams in managing the continually evolving threat landscape within their digital environments.

With Ariel Katz formally joining the executive leadership, Outpost24 signals a commitment to strengthening its market presence, enhancing capabilities through strategic transactions, and furthering its collaboration with other cybersecurity providers and allied technology firms.
