STRONG Pilates Oxford and Khanom's have partnered with BON CHARGE to introduce red light technology at The Holford Centre in Oxford, adding it to Pilates, yoga and recovery sessions.

Under the deal, BON CHARGE becomes the Official Red Light & Recovery Partner for the two Oxford brands. Its Red Light Therapy Blanket is being used in new Pilates-only classes, while Khanom's has opened a BON CHARGE Reset Room featuring Red Light Therapy Blankets and a Red Light Face Mask.

For STRONG Pilates Oxford, the partnership includes a red-light Pilates-only class that combines the studio's existing training format with the recovery technology. Khanom's is also incorporating the devices into mat Pilates and yoga classes, alongside its dedicated recovery space.

The rollout is limited to the Oxford studio and wellness venue rather than STRONG's wider network, which has more than 125 operating studios across 14 countries.

Khanom's was developed by Khaleda Rahman alongside the launch of STRONG Pilates Oxford. The concept focuses on offering fitness and recovery in one location, with facilities including sauna, cold therapy, red light therapy and restorative treatments.

Recovery focus

The businesses are entering a market where recovery services are attracting greater interest from gym users and wellness customers. Figures they cited show sports recovery bookings rose 155% and low-impact training increased 112%, while strength training and Pilates also continued to grow.

BON CHARGE also cited survey data suggesting red light technology remains relatively new for many UK consumers. According to its Global Wellness Tech Trend Report 2026, one quarter of UK adults have explored red light technology and 87% of those users began within the past two years.

The same report found that 21% use red light devices as part of a post-workout recovery routine. The figures were based on a survey of 2,000 people in the UK as part of a wider international study.

The partnership follows BON CHARGE's involvement in STRONG Week across the fitness brand's global studios in Asia-Pacific, North America and the UK. During that campaign, members were offered the chance to win a Max Red Light Therapy Device.

Andy Mant, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of BON CHARGE, said the partnership was designed to bring the company's products into regular fitness settings rather than specialist clinics or studios.

"At BON CHARGE, our mission is to make science-backed wellness tech seamlessly fit into people's daily routines. Partnering with STRONG Pilates Oxford allows us to bridge the gap between high-intensity training and proactive recovery. By integrating our targeted red light technology directly into the studio experience and the Reset Room, we're making elite-level recovery accessible to every member, helping them optimise performance, bounce back faster, and feel their best every day," said Mant.

Rahman said the Oxford businesses were created to bring training and recovery together in one environment.

"Opening STRONG Pilates Oxford stemmed from a desire to create a premium, effective and accessible training environment, but it was clear that training and recovery shouldn't exist as separate worlds. We're often so focused on the next session that we neglect recovery. That's why our partnership with BON CHARGE feels so aligned, as it allows us to give our community curated, effective tools to make recovery a realistic, daily part of their routines," said Rahman.
