Saviynt adds AI-powered tools to simplify identity management

Thu, 16th Oct 2025

Saviynt has announced the introduction of new artificial intelligence-driven features to its platform, aimed at helping enterprises manage and secure all applications and identities, including both human and non-human forms such as AI agents.

Organisations are experiencing increasing challenges in onboarding and governing the growing number of applications and managing the expanding pool of identities, which now includes not only employees but machines, automated tools, and AI agents. A recent study from Ponemon revealed that 49 percent of organisations do not track how many disconnected applications they have, which creates gaps in visibility and potential vulnerabilities.

Agentic AI onboarding

The latest enhancement to Saviynt's platform, called Agentic AI Onboarding for Applications, is designed to simplify and speed up the process of integrating both connected and disconnected applications, whether they reside on-premises or in the cloud. By utilising agentic AI, the integration process becomes more streamlined, meaning all applications can be managed through a single identity security platform, helping organisations reduce complexity in oversight and minimise the attack surface.

The new AI-driven onboarding feature aims to address the organisational struggle with comprehensive application management. The unified approach is intended to facilitate a higher level of governance and security for businesses with highly distributed digital assets.

Managing all identities

Saviynt's platform update tackles another expanding issue: the rise in non-human and AI-generated identities, which now outnumber human identities by over 82 to 1 according to internal figures referenced by the company. The swift increase in AI agents, while beneficial for productivity, brings a new category of identity that organisations may not be prepared to govern or secure effectively, exposing potential risks across critical systems.

In response, Saviynt has expanded its Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) capabilities to provide oversight of all types of identities. The enhancements are designed to give organisations comprehensive visibility into who or what is accessing data, as well as governance mechanisms and compliance assurance.

Key features of the update include ISPM for AI Agents, offering visibility and audit readiness for AI agents and their core infrastructure, such as MCP servers and key tools. Organisations can utilise simplified discovery to identify these entities, access prioritised risk insights, and benefit from integrated mapping of access rights. The system features enrichment with security signals from partners such as CrowdStrike. For non-human identities (NHI), the platform now includes a central inventory, visibility into access policies, violation detection, and capabilities for single-click remediation.

"AI is reshaping enterprise security at every level. Identities no longer belong only to people - they now extend to non-human users like machines, applications, and AI agents. Our latest AI innovations ensure that every identity is governed with the same rigor, context, and automation. With agentic AI onboarding and comprehensive identity security posture management across all identities, we're enabling organizations to stay secure, compliant, and prepared for what's next," said Sachin Nayyar, Chief Executive Officer, Saviynt.

Integration and compliance

Saviynt's platform seeks to bring together all elements of digital identity security into a single dashboard, including application governance, privileged access management, and security posture assessment. The inclusion of AI at the core is positioned as a proactive approach to help organisations reduce risk, make quicker decisions, and improve operational flexibility.

"Saviynt has always been at the forefront of identity innovation. While others are experimenting with AI overlays, we're embedding AI natively into the fabric of identity security. This isn't just about adding new features-it's about delivering an end-to-end, AI-first platform that helps enterprises govern more effectively, scale seamlessly, and confidently embrace the future of digital business," said Vibhuti Sinha, Chief Product Officer, Saviynt.

By providing unified management for all human and non-human identities, Saviynt's update aims to facilitate enterprise adoption of Zero Trust models at broader scale and help organisations maintain compliance as digital ecosystems become more complex.
