Trustify named National Ambassador for cyber resilience in UK

Trustify, a Managed Security Service Provider, has been announced as a National Ambassador for the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG). The announcement signals Trustify’s commitment to collaborating with the police, government, and fellow Ambassador partners to enhance cyber resilience throughout the UK.

With this membership, Trustify joins a notable group of NCRCG National Ambassadors, including Aviva, Baseel, CGI, Chainalysis, ISC2, KPMG, Mastercard, Microsoft, NatWest Group, Resilience, SANS Institute, SAS, Sir Robert McAlpine, and The Very Group. Founded in 2015 and based in Scotland, Trustify specialises in Cyber Risk Management services and their Cyber Risk Audit and Assessment Framework is widely used by both public and private sector organisations globally.

Trustify's focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) stands out as part of its new role. The company aims to showcase its dedication to assisting these businesses, which often bear the brunt of cybercrime. "Through its broad customer base, Trustify has direct contact with over 600,000 SMEs and, working with the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) network, will help to ensure the necessary cyber resilience support and advice gets to those who need it most," the release states.

The company plans to implement a virtual roadshow spanning the nine regional CRCs to support threat intelligence management. By doing so, Trustify intends to provide insights into how they encourage their own customers to monitor and handle cyber threats, thereby protecting supply chain organisations.

The initiative is part of Trustify’s broader efforts to enhance the technical and skills assets available to SMEs, helping them to tackle cyber challenges more effectively. John Madelin, Advisory Board member at Trustify and representative for the National Ambassador role, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative.

We have seen a fantastic expansion of our National Ambassador programme in recent months, which is testament to the excellent work being carried out by our central team as well as the network of regional CRCs.

The NCRCG, established in 2021, is a strategic collaboration between the Home Office, policing, National Ambassador partners, and academia aimed at strengthening cyber resilience among small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK. The organisation's reach is supported by nine regional cyber resilience centres across England and Wales that provide affordable, high-quality cyber resilience services to local organisations.

The partnership between NCRCG and its National Ambassadors provides a platform for larger organisations to lead the effort against cybercrime. Trustify’s involvement as a National Ambassador signifies a strong commitment to advancing the security and resilience of the UK's SME community in the face of growing cyber threats.
