VIPRE acquires Cryoserver & Solar Archive for email security

VIPRE Security Group has acquired Forensic and Compliance Systems, including the Cryoserver and Solar Archive brands, to enhance its email security and compliance offerings.

Forensic and Compliance Systems is based in the United Kingdom and Dublin and has been operating since 2006. The company brings established expertise in integrated email archiving, with its Cryoserver and Solar Archive brands serving customers across Europe and North America.

Cryoserver is an email archiving solution that is available both on-premises and in the cloud. It is designed to provide secure storage and easy retrieval of email communications, supporting requirements for compliance, eDiscovery, and business continuity. Cryoserver has built a reputation for robust security and comprehensive features.

Solar Archive, also under the FCS umbrella, is a cloud-based, white-label email archiving platform. It is specifically designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The platform is intended to be scalable, efficient, and low-maintenance, allowing partners to offer archiving services under their own brand.

The acquisition is expected to expand VIPRE's presence among MSPs by introducing its portfolio of email and endpoint security, as well as security training solutions, to FCS's partner ecosystem. VIPRE stated that it plans to accelerate the development roadmaps for both Cryoserver and Solar Archive and intends to make strategic investments in their growth.

VIPRE Security Group operates globally, supplying internet security solutions to businesses, solution providers, and home users.
