Altia, a technology firm specialising in investigative software, has appointed Sarah Saxton-Jones as its new Head of Product. She will lead the development and expansion of Altia's products and services, focusing on the company's flagship platform, Altia HQ.

The Nottingham-headquartered company serves a global audience, providing software solutions to law enforcement agencies, government departments, and private sector organisations. According to Altia, the new appointment comes during a period of growth, with an increase in headcount by almost 20% over the past three years. The company has also made senior appointments in its Asia-Pacific team to strengthen its regional presence.

Sarah Saxton-Jones brings over two decades of experience in digital transformation, innovation, and strategic business change across government entities and the private sector. In her previous role as a Programme Director, she led technology and business initiatives for various government agencies, including CT Policing and the Ministry of Defence. Her efforts resulted in significant technological advancements and multi-million-pound efficiencies.

Rob Sinclair, CEO of Altia, expressed his enthusiasm for Saxton-Jones’s appointment. "At Altia, we pride ourselves on delivering the best and most innovative tools to help our customers. Naturally, that means we want to work with the best, and we are incredibly excited to have Sarah join our team," he said. "Her proven track record in smoothing the transitions to modern methodologies, delivering technological advancements, and enhancing operational transparency will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our products and capabilities."

Additionally, Saxton-Jones is known for advocating culture change and promoting inclusivity and innovation. She was honoured with the Director General Award for innovation in 2021, which highlights her commitment to driving positive change within organisations.

Upon her appointment, Saxton-Jones said, "Altia has a background in delivering new and innovative technologies in the investigation field, and I'm thrilled to have this exciting opportunity to join the team at a time of growth. I'm looking forward to contributing to the innovative projects that Altia has on the horizon and getting stuck in to help drive forward the impactful work that Altia is known for. I look forward to the challenges ahead and to being part of a company that is truly making a difference in the investigative tech field."

Altia HQ, launched in June this year, aims to provide a consolidated range of investigative modules for law enforcement, government, and regulatory bodies. The platform is designed to streamline investigations, improve collaboration, and help users identify new avenues of interest. Developed using cloud-native technology, Altia HQ adheres to the latest security standards and offers easy upgrades and feature adaptations, allowing customers to focus on their investigations.

The appointment of Saxton-Jones is expected to bolster Altia's top-level positions and accelerate its product innovation. Her extensive experience and leadership are anticipated to play a pivotal role in the company's continued success and growth.
