Comstor strengthens Europe team with key leadership hires
Westcon-Comstor has enhanced the leadership team of its Cisco-focused arm, Comstor, with two significant appointments.
Stéphane Reboud has been named Senior Vice President, Comstor Sales, Europe. Reboud joins the team following over 20 years at Dell Technologies, where his latest role involved spearheading the mid-market business segment on a global scale. He worked to mobilise Dell sales teams and the channel partner ecosystem to address customer-specific requirements.
Previously, Reboud led services sales across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region for four years. He also held the position of Chief of Staff to Dell's EMEA President and played a key role in the integration of software sales post Dell's USD $67 billion acquisition of EMC.
In his new role at Comstor, Reboud will focus on leveraging the company's value-added services and expertise across the Cisco portfolio to foster growth for partners across Europe. A French national, Reboud has an extensive international background, having also worked in the UK, Netherlands, and Hungary.
Steven Heinsius has been appointed Vice President, Product Management and Marketing EMEA, Comstor. Heinsius brings more than 25 years of experience in IT distribution and technology sectors, including 14 years at Cisco, to his new role.
During his tenure at Cisco, Heinsius held the role of Director of Software Sales EMEA, where he emphasised the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, while utilising software and services in enterprise agreements to drive continuity in growth.
Based in the Netherlands, Heinsius is recognised as a certified Cisco Technologies instructor. In his new position, he will focus on driving strategic development of Comstor's product portfolio and go-to-market strategies across EMEA.
The new appointments come on the heels of Comstor securing EMEA distribution rights for Cisco-owned Splunk. Both Reboud and Heinsius are attending Cisco Live 2025 in Amsterdam. Heinsius is scheduled to present a session titled '7 Ways to Fail as a Wireless Expert,' which will highlight opportunities for partners brought about by Wi-Fi 7.
"Joining Comstor represents a new chapter in my career, and it's one that fills me with energy and enthusiasm," said Stéphane Reboud. "My guiding mission during my 20-plus years at Dell has been to facilitate technological innovation and collaboration, striving to be a good listener and a true business partner, ultimately empowering customers through smart decision-making. I am bringing these values and this philosophy to Comstor as we harness our world-leading expertise in all things Cisco to unleash growth across the value chain."
"Having worked at an end customer, a partner, at Cisco and in distribution, I feel like my journey has come full circle with this new role," said Steven Heinsius. "I'm passionate about driving innovation and providing superior customer experiences, and joining Comstor at this exciting point in its evolution represents the perfect opportunity to do precisely that. One of my main priorities over the coming months is to enable partners to navigate and capitalise on the opportunities presented by the game-changing Cisco 360 Partner Programme, answering any questions they have and providing tailored support and guidance."
