CybaVerse has expanded its CybaOps platform, adding integrated SIEM, case management and automation for channel partners.

The UK cyber security company described the release as one of the biggest changes to CybaOps since its launch in 2025. The platform combines managed detection and response with SIEM, Cyber Essentials support, vulnerability management, security assessments and penetration testing in one environment.

The update is aimed at managed service providers and other partners that want to build cyber security services for customers through different delivery models. Partners can run the platform as a fully managed service, in a self-hosted setup or through a hybrid approach.

At the centre of the update is integrated case management, giving partners and end customers a clearer view of security investigations. Users can see analyst activity, investigation steps and response actions in real time within the same environment.

According to CybaVerse, CybaOps also ingests and normalises security data from any log source into a single system. The design is intended to reduce the need for analysts to switch between multiple tools during investigations.

Partner model

CybaVerse has positioned the platform around channel flexibility. Partners can white-label its services, operate parts of the service independently, or combine their own teams with CybaVerse's round-the-clock monitoring and security operations support.

The platform is technology-agnostic, allowing data ingestion from a wide range of security tools across different customer environments. This is intended to avoid locking partners into a single technology stack while maintaining visibility across varied systems.

Other additions include event visibility tools, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, automated data enrichment, connector health monitoring and broader reporting. These features are designed to give users more insight into their security posture and day-to-day operations.

The platform also aligns with industry frameworks including Cyber Essentials and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. In practice, this places the service within compliance and risk management processes many organisations already use.

Growing demand

The expansion comes as many managed service providers face pressure to offer broader cyber security services without building full security operations functions from scratch. Across the sector, vendors have increasingly pitched modular or channel-led platforms as a way to meet customer demand while spreading the cost and complexity of delivery.

For partners, the question is often whether to invest in internal analysts, tooling and monitoring infrastructure, or rely on specialist providers for some or all of those functions. CybaVerse is targeting that decision point with a platform it says can support both outsourced and in-house models.

Oliver Spence, Chief Executive Officer of CybaVerse, said the company built the platform to reduce the operational fragmentation many organisations face.

"Cyber security is often fragmented. Organisations can find themselves dealing with multiple suppliers, disconnected tools and limited visibility into what is actually happening behind the scenes," Spence said.

"We wanted to create an MDR platform that removes this complexity. CybaOps brings together the technologies, services and operational visibility organisations need, while giving partners the flexibility to build cyber security offerings that align with their customers' unique business models and growth plans. Our goal has always been to help partners scale cyber security services in a predictable and achievable way. This release represents a major step forward in making this possible," he added.

Spence also pointed to the commercial challenge facing service providers as customer demand rises.

"As customer demand for cyber security services continues to grow, many MSPs face a choice between investing heavily in in-house security operations capabilities or partnering with specialist providers. CybaOps gives partners a practical route to delivering comprehensive cyber security services through a model that can evolve alongside their business. Whether organisations want a fully managed service, a self-hosted environment or something in between, the platform has been designed to support that journey," he said.
