Device Authority's KSaaS surpasses 11m global authentications

Device Authority has announced that its KeyScaler as a Service (KSaaS) platform has surpassed 11 million machine identity authentications.

The London-based firm disclosed that KSaaS has achieved this milestone across 49 countries, reflecting a strong demand for scalable, automated security solutions for IoT and AI devices in a rapidly digitalising world.

KSaaS offers solutions that eliminate the complexities and time-intensive manual processes of managing IoT device identities, which would typically demand significant resource allocation from IT teams. The platform enables automated identity management, securing regular authentication processes for IoT devices, and supports organisations in safeguarding critical infrastructure and sensitive data across multiple industries.

In line with its commitment to next-generation security, Device Authority earlier launched several projects, including KeyScaler AI, which customises protection for AI-driven IoT environments like smart cities and intelligent video surveillance. Additionally, they introduced the KeyScaler Connected Factory Software Bundle, specifically targeting the needs of industrial IoT environments.

The company's growth marks it as a leader in the fields of IoT and AI security. According to the 2024 CyberArk Identity Security Threat Landscape Report, the number of machine identities is expected to more than double in the forthcoming year. The report illustrates the crucial need for heightened security, given that 93% of organisations surveyed have endured two or more identity-related breaches.

KSaaS, available via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, presents an infrastructure-free alternative to Device Authority's on-premise KeyScaler platform. This enhances its practicality for IoT networks, AI applications, edge computing, and worldwide supply chains. The platform features one-click deployment of public key infrastructure (PKI) services and policy-driven encryption, facilitating scaled device identity management and assisting organisations in adhering to regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and US Executive Order 14028.

This platform's performance has earned Device Authority the Rising Azure Technology 2023 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award. This accolade was awarded in recognition of the company's notable customer impact and utilisation of Microsoft Azure as its primary cloud platform. The award further underscores KSaaS's market distinction, offering clients more varied procurement and deployment options, and enabling them to secure fully-managed solutions without incurring significant infrastructure costs.
