Logicalis has achieved Cisco's Secure Networking Specialisation, becoming the first Cisco global partner to hold the designation in five countries across its main operating regions.

The specialisation has been awarded to Logicalis operations in the United States, Germany, Brazil, China and Indonesia. It plans to double that footprint within six months by extending the certification across more of its international business.

The designation recognises expertise in networking, security and managed services. It also validates Logicalis' work in designing, implementing and managing secure environments that combine connectivity and security.

The company said the move strengthens its global managed services offering while enabling customers to receive support tailored to local market requirements. Those services are delivered through Network Operations Centres and Security Operations Centres in each major region.

Managed services

The development comes as companies place greater demands on their networks, driven by more business-critical traffic, more connected devices and more distributed workloads. At the same time, security teams are under pressure to improve visibility and policy control across broader, more complex environments.

Logicalis and Cisco said they are adapting secure networking managed services to meet that shift. The services are built on Cisco Cloud Control and, where available, are enhanced by Cisco IQ and Cisco Data Fabric.

According to the companies, the services are designed to give customers greater visibility into their environments while supporting infrastructure modernisation, resilience and risk management. They also form part of a broader effort to help customers prepare their technology estates for greater use of artificial intelligence.

Anita Swann, VP, Global Alliances at Logicalis, described the milestone as a reflection of the company's long-standing relationship with Cisco.

"This specialisation reflects the strength of our longstanding relationship with Cisco and the investments we continue to make in the skills, platforms and services our customers need. By bringing networking and security together within a transformational managed services model, we can help organisations reduce complexity, strengthen resilience and build the secure foundations required for AI," said Anita Swann, VP, Global Alliances at Logicalis.

Cisco relationship

The announcement also highlights the importance of partner certifications in Cisco's channel strategy. For Logicalis, the recognition provides third-party validation of its ability to apply consistent security controls across large and complex network estates.

Cisco said the achievement stands out because it spans five countries from the outset and is tied to managed service delivery at international scale. That combination matters for multinational customers seeking common operating standards across different markets.

Elisabeth De Dobbeleer, SVP, Cisco Global Partner Program GTM at Cisco, said the achievement reflected the depth of the partnership.

"Cisco's partner ecosystem is central to helping customers translate technology innovation into measurable outcomes. Logicalis' ability to achieve Cisco's Secure Networking Specialisation in five countries, combined with their capacity to deliver managed services at scale, demonstrates the expertise, innovation and customer focus that define our strongest partners. Their global capability combined with local expertise helps customers modernise their infrastructure, simplify operations and prepare securely for the AI era," said Elisabeth De Dobbeleer, SVP, Cisco Global Partner Program GTM at Cisco.

Beyond the certification itself, the two companies said they work together to help customers assess existing environments, set modernisation priorities and move towards more automated, policy-driven operations. Cisco IQ and Cloud Control are used in that process to improve visibility, lifecycle management and operational consistency.

Broader shift

The latest specialisation also reflects a broader shift in Logicalis' business away from traditional infrastructure management and towards managed services focused on continuous operational improvement. In practice, that means helping customers update existing systems, simplify day-to-day operations and make technology investment decisions with clearer information.

Secure networking has become a central part of that proposition because it brings together network management, security, automation and operational oversight in a single service model. For customers dealing with fragmented technology estates, that offers a route to standardisation without requiring the same approach in every local market.

Logicalis said the five-country certification gives customers access to validated Cisco expertise through a global delivery model while keeping support aligned with local requirements.
