ManageEngine launches marketplace with 170 extensions
Fri, 3rd Jul 2026 (Today)
ManageEngine has launched a developer ecosystem through its Marketplace, which includes more than 170 extensions from over 17 partner developers.
The marketplace allows enterprises to find and deploy integrations, add-ons and plugins for ManageEngine's IT management platforms. More than 10,000 downloads have been recorded worldwide so far.
The launch expands ManageEngine's use of outside developers to extend its software portfolio. As Zoho's IT division, ManageEngine aims to give customers more ways to tailor platforms to specific operational needs while offering partners a route to distribute their work.
Listings cover extensions built by partner developers for ManageEngine products, and the programme is open to independent software vendors, partners and customers using its extension framework. A review team checks submissions for functionality, security and compliance before publication.
Rajesh Ganesan, Chief executive officer of ManageEngine, linked the launch to wider changes in software development.
"As software development becomes increasingly democratized through powerful AI tools, customers expect a secure, efficient, and agile way to extend the capabilities of their platforms. ManageEngine Marketplace enables developers to unlock possibilities beyond what ManageEngine builds natively while upholding the quality, security, and governance standards our customers trust us for," said Rajesh Ganesan, Chief executive officer of ManageEngine.
"We are excited to see our ecosystem of developers, partners, and customers innovate, collaborate, and grow through this initiative," Ganesan added.
Partner role
ManageEngine described the marketplace as a shared model involving its internal platform teams, external developers and customers. Under that structure, it provides the underlying platform components, while partner developers build specialised extensions and customers deploy them for particular use cases.
The approach reflects a broader software industry pattern in which vendors seek growth through partner-led integrations rather than relying solely on in-house product development. For enterprise users, the appeal is often the ability to connect existing systems and add niche functions without commissioning bespoke software projects.
ISNIA Technologies is among the partners already building for the platform. According to ManageEngine, the company focuses on AI-enabled data tools and enterprise automation.
"ManageEngine solutions are widely used and appreciated by many of our European customers. Now, through the Marketplace program, we are a part of their platform journey. Marketplace has enabled us to transform our expertise into scalable solutions, create recurring revenue, and expand our market reach," said Sivakumar Ramasamy, Founder and chief executive officer of ISNIA Technologies.
Security checks
Every extension submitted to the marketplace goes through validation before publication. The checks cover functionality, security and compliance, which remains a central concern for corporate buyers when third-party software is added to core IT management systems.
ManageEngine presented the marketplace as open by design, but with central oversight intended to limit the risks that can arise when outside code is distributed through a vendor-backed channel. That balance is increasingly important as software companies encourage broader developer participation while facing tougher customer scrutiny over governance and trust.
For ManageEngine, the launch also offers a way to deepen the reach of its platforms without building every feature itself. With hundreds of IT tools in use across large organisations, integration marketplaces have become a common way for software suppliers to make their products more adaptable within complex technology estates.
The marketplace has already gained global traction, with more than 10,000 downloads across its current catalogue of extensions.
