Contrast Security launches new channel-first strategy
Contrast Security has announced a shift to a channel-first strategy to enhance the global adoption of its application security solutions.
In an effort to expand its reach, the company is increasing its partner programme which involves joint go-to-market investments. This move will enable a larger network of solutions providers to deliver application security solutions worldwide. Additionally, Contrast Security has initiated collaborations with industry peers Splunk and Wiz to further its mission of securing applications and APIs from attacks throughout their lifecycle.
Scott O'Rourke, Chief Revenue Officer at Contrast Security, commented, "Organisations are frustrated with legacy AppSec approaches that create bottlenecks and fail to stop real threats. By going channel-first, we're amplifying our ability to deliver real-time attack prevention and vulnerability monitoring to more enterprises—through the trusted advisors they already rely on."
The shift has been well-received by some of Contrast Security's channel partners globally. Mark Thornberry, Senior Vice President of Vendor Management at GuidePoint Security in the USA, noted, "Contrast's move to a Channel-First organisation is an exciting evolution. We look forward to strengthening our strategic partnership through this shift, working together to help organisations prevent, detect and respond to application and API attacks."
In the United Kingdom, Andrew Smyth, Partner Manager at e92plus, remarked that "Contrast already provides some of the best technology education I've experienced. This move to Channel-First will benefit the whole ecosystem."
Meanwhile, Frank Teh, Managing Director at OneT Solutions in Singapore, stated, "We appreciate Contrast Security's commitment to building a strong partnership so that we can deliver the best application security solutions and services to the Southeast Asian market."
The Contrast Partner-First Programme offers several benefits designed to enhance the capabilities of its partners. These include advanced training and certification opportunities to deepen ADR expertise, an enhanced partner portal providing a centralised hub for training materials, sales tools, and other resources. Additionally, there are co-marketing growth programmes aimed at reaching a wider audience and attractive revenue-sharing models to drive profitability.
One of the standout features of the programme is comp neutrality, aimed at fostering strong relationships between the Contrast sales team and its channel partners.
